At The Wedding Guide Co., we are committed to providing high-quality digital products designed to meet the unique needs of your business. Due to the nature of digital products, we have established a clear and fair refund policy in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, particularly within the European Union.
Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
Digital Products – No Refunds
Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be issued once access to the product has been granted via an email link to the design platform (e.g., Canva).
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that the product is considered delivered once access to the link or platform-specific content has been provided. We encourage you to review all product details and platform requirements (e.g., Canva or Showit) before completing your purchase.
Before completing your purchase, you may be required to actively confirm that you understand this policy and waive your right to withdraw once access is delivered.
Exceptions to the No-Refund Policy
In compliance with consumer protection laws, including the EU Digital Content Directive, the following exceptions apply:
Defective Products
A product is considered defective if it is unusable due to a technical issue or does not match the description provided at the time of purchase, and the issue is not caused by user error, post-purchase modifications, or third-party incompatibility.
If you believe you have received a defective product, please contact us at hello@theweddingguideco.com within 14 days of purchase. Our team will assist you in troubleshooting the issue. If the defect cannot be resolved, we will offer a replacement product or, in some cases, a refund.
Please note: Customization errors or user-made modifications are not considered defects and are not eligible for a refund.
Right to Withdraw
For EU Customers
As a consumer within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, provided that the digital product has not been accessed or downloaded. Once the product is delivered (i.e., a link to the platform is provided), this right is forfeited.
By completing your purchase, you expressly acknowledge that your right to withdraw ends once the product access link is delivered to your provided email address.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please:
- Notify us in writing within 14 days of the purchase date at hello@theweddingguideco.com.
- Include your full name, order number, and a written confirmation that you have not accessed or downloaded the product.
Once your withdrawal request is confirmed, we will process your refund within 14 days via the original method of payment.
For Non-EU Customers
Customers outside the European Union do not have the right to withdraw after purchase. Due to the immediate and irreversible nature of digital product delivery, all sales are final. Please review product details and platform compatibility carefully before purchasing.
Inability to Access Product
If you are unable to access or download your product via the provided platform link, please:
- Check your spam/junk folder.
- Confirm that the email address entered at checkout is correct.
If you still experience issues, contact us at hello@theweddingguideco.com within 7 days of purchase. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly. If we are unable to provide access within a reasonable timeframe, you may be entitled to a refund.
Access refers to clicking or opening the product link sent to your email. Please be aware that this may generate a digital footprint indicating product delivery.
Technical Compatibility
Our templates are designed for specific platforms, such as Canva (and potentially Showit in the future). It is your responsibility to ensure that you have access to and are familiar with the required platform before purchasing.
We are not responsible for issues arising from platform incompatibility if requirements are clearly outlined on the product page.
Exclusions
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Change of mind after purchase.
- Failure to read product descriptions or platform compatibility details (e.g., Canva or Showit).
- Custom modifications or misuse of the product after purchase.
- Lack of access to or unfamiliarity with the design platforms required.
Refunds are also not provided for duplicate orders unless confirmed by our team. If you believe you placed the same order more than once, please contact us immediately.
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund based on the exceptions above, please contact us at hello@theweddingguideco.com with the following information:
- Your full name.
- The order number or proof of purchase.
- A detailed explanation of the issue or defect.
- Any relevant screenshots or evidence to help us assess the problem.
Our team will review your request and respond within 7 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed via the original payment method within 14 days of approval.
